Unable to Connect to Xbox Live Party Chat - Error 0x801901f4

Hello everyone,

Recently, I've encountered an issue while trying to connect to Xbox Live Party Chat on my Xbox One. Whenever I attempt to join or start a party, I receive the error code 0x801901f4, and I'm unable to connect at all. I've checked my internet connection, and everything seems fine there. I've also tried restarting my console and router multiple times, but the problem persists.

Has anyone else experienced this issue, or does anyone have suggestions on how to resolve it? Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I miss being able to chat with my friends during gaming sessions.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

According to Xbox Support:

"This might mean your console could not connect to the internet during a system update or while you were using your console."

If you have already restart the console along with your network connection, kindly try using a different network connection and check if there will be an improvement, Teresa.

If the same issue occur, you may need to reset the console keeping games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

"Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps."

Does it give you any errors ? Can you stay connected to live , friends , party chat store and such ?
