    How to change country from United States in my billing information when trying to change...


    This is actually so annoying, I am Canadian and I have never changed my country/region in my settings on both my Xbox account and my Microsoft account. So I have no idea why this problem is even happening to me.

    I am trying to change my Xbox gamertag and every time I try and fill in my card information it has my country/region automatically set to United States, and it's greyed out so I am unable to change it. Every search result about this problem has the same answer: "Go to your Xbox settings/Microsoft settings and change your region." It's always been Canada, why wouldn't it, it's not like it can change on it's own. I have also checked my billing information on my computer under my card info and the country is still Canada. I don't know if recent events in the States have caused Canadians to be unable to purchase certain things on Xbox, but this has to be the dumbest problem I've come across on Xbox. Idk if it thinks I am American or if the card I'd be using is American, I have no idea. I've tried so many different things my brain hurts. There is totally no reason for it to be under United States, as I purchase things on Xbox every now and then and have never come across this problem until now. Seems like it is literally impossible to change my country to anything other than United States in the billing information. By the way, I even logged into my actual Xbox to look at the Xbox settings on the console and my country is still, Canada.

    If somebody knows how to fix this or can relate to this so I know I'm not the only one struggling with this problem, please lend me a hand and let me know what's going on and how to overcome it.

    I changed my region from United States to Canada, and then I updated my billing information.

    Do the problem is it didn’t work now im stuck because it is in the wrong region and ive changed it on more or less everything when i get sent to the billing contact information it says “country/region United States” but ive changed it already

    Can't enter correct Billing Informations! (so I can't buy stuff...)

    My informations are all correct and set to Canada in account.live.com . This includes billing adress and payment option. When I go to my Xbox, none of these informations appear.

    Is it possible that the Xbox part of my account is set to united states while the rest is in Canada ?

    I use the same email adress on both...

    Well, anyway, how do I change my country in Xbox knowing that my informations are correct when I go to my microsoft account on a computer ?!

    Can't pay for gamertag name change as I can't change my billing country

    I tried this and it hasn't worked. My settings were already set to my country and it still bills me in dollars. Basically I checked the name, go to claim it and it says it will charge me in dollars. I then go to the billing details and it won't let me
    change from 'United States'.
