    Xbox series x controller Warranty why is it saying its expired?


    Good evening, I sent my xbox controller to the Microsoft repair center and after they shipped it back today (havent recieved the controller yet) The warranty says its expired is there something that might explain this issue? I noticed it after they sent me an email the repair was complete. The other issue I have is they didnt tell me anything about the repair in the email I couldn't even access the service order.

    Hi, TheSenate87897! I understand that it’s concerning to see the warranty marked as expired. Did you receive an email about the shipment? While it might not update immediately, you can track it using the courier's tracking number.

    As for the warranty, it's normal for it to show as expired. Please allow a week or two for it to be updated or corrected after you receive the device.

    Controller left trigger sticking

    I bought the Series X back in Feb. 2021 and I think the 3 month warranty has been passed (assuming it starts upon purchase). I have a "Microsoft Limited Warranty" that will expire on March 2022 but I'm not sure if that covers hardware. I did have a glimpse at the "out of warranty" repairs but did not see a controller listed except for the Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 (I'm US territory).
