Path of exile 2 not starting after game patch today

I’m having this issue on both my Xbox series x one is brand new from today that was working prior to update, also its a wide spread issue as multiple post are on the POE forums

The error I get is 0x8b050033

Please power cycle your console by turning off your Xbox Series X and unplug the power cable. Wait for about 10 seconds, then plug it back in and turn on the console. This can help resolve temporary issues.

And then clear alternate MAC address. To do this please go to Settings > Network > Network settings > Advanced settings > Alternate MAC address > Clear. Restart your console.

And then check for system updates. Kindly make sure that your console is updated to the latest firmware version. Go to Settings > System > Updates & downloads and check for updates.

If the issue persist after performing the troubleshooting steps please uninstall and then reinstall Path of Exile 2. This is a great help in resolving any corrupted files that might be the cause of the problem.

Hi, after the most recent Path of Exile patch, the abilty to purchase points is not working. The game developer has stated this is an issue with Microsoft, not something on their end. Is there a fix or work around?

If it is an issue with microsoft i would not try to fix or work around it yourself. If the dev contacted microsoft they should be working on a fix
