Minecraft multiplayer help

I downloaded the Xbox family app for my son and turn on allow multiplayer for him, but he still is not able to play multiplayer minecraft. Can anyone help?

How to fix Minecraft account

Hi, I hope you're doing great despite the issue you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

Kindly make sure that your son is on your family group by signing in to https://account.microsoft.com/family.

Once he is added as a member you will be needing to manage the setting for his account.

To do so, you need to sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings and from there, you should see his account, make sure to click that, and then make sure that the setting in this screenshot that has an arrow is set to "allow"

Also, if your son is playing on Xbox you need to make sure that he has an active Xbox Live Gold subscription.
