    Why do I need gamepass to play online when I bought the game


    I bought a 120 dollar game and now that my gamepass ran out I can't play it without buying gamepass, like why do I need to pay to have fun, it's actually missing me off to the point where I don't think owning a Xbox is even worth it anymore, it's such a stupid feature, like why do I need to pay for gamepass just to play online?

    All games require at least Game Pass Core to play online with the exception of free-to-play games. It's the same as Nintendo and Playstation.

    Yes. With the exception of "free to play" games all other games require having a gamepass core subscription in order to play online.

    Also I need to mention that I still have the benefits for gold, and can play online. i also bought the gamepass that was on sale for a dollar, is it a regular gamepass or a ultimate?

    Hello, thanks for your question. Checking your problem here I believe you have to contact support. I saw that you are playing by PC, try restarting your computer log out of account and log in again.
