Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

Just a friendly reminder though that there are multiple reports in regards to the same issue, however, there are no official announcement from Microsoft that's why we just need to perform troubleshooting steps.

Please perform an extended powercycle and reset the network hardware by following the steps below:

"1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state."

Bump. Please help.

I called Comcast last night and they were unable to do anything. They want to send out their version of the Geek Squad and charge me craptons of money.

Again: I have my XBOX hardwired into my Motorola SB6121 and I cannot connect to XBOX Live. It gets the correct IP/DNS/gateway/subnet numbers, but it cannot connect out to the Internet.

I am able to connect my MacBook to the Internet, both directly wired to the cable modem or even through my wireless router, which is a Medialink. But I cannot get any other device to connect to the Internet (including a Roku box and a DirecTV Cinema Connection
Kit). This leads me to believe that it might be a Comcast issue, but I cannot be sure. I was hoping someone might have had this problem in the past and might know what to do. I'm desperate.

I did all this but now it says I cannot connect to xbox live. I have the 360 which have wireless. I have a Linksys wrt54gsv4. My settings are automatic but everything shows as 0.0.0.0. Does it make any sense that my internet and ps3 can get online but not
the 360? never had this problem.
