Do i have to buy minecraft again???

It is likely that you have not lost it, since when you try to download or run it from the Microsoft store you are trying to run the Windows Version of Minecraft and NOT the JAVA version, which is the one from Mojang and Mojang servers.

You would have to follow the support options and guides for the JAVA version to solve the problem, and most likely you will only have to reinstall the game from the Mojang website, not from the Microsoft website or the Microsoft Store (Not XBOX either) .

I would like to try my best to offer you some advice.



You definitely don't need to make another purchase unless there is something wrong with the order (very unlikely).

Just in case, you can follow the steps below to check if your order is showing up properly:

Use your Microsoft/Xbox account to sign in to:

https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders

Select All available to see if there is a corresponding order.







If Minecraft is present, then you need a Minecraft Launcher to have play the game.

Try downloading a Minecraft Launcher from the Microsoft Store or Xbox and logging in to the account you used to purchase the game, and once you're logged in you can download and play.

Of course, downloading directly from the Minecraft website is also a good option:
