    COD BO6 Zombies Multiplayer Lag


    I haven't been able to play well since a couple days ago, my network is stable (wired connection), but suddenly the game starts going laggy and if I try to move my character is like if the screen gets frozen temporarily and I die :/ I've been trying to play in different maps but is the same thing. This just happens with this game (Xbox series X)

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with Call of Duty Black Ops 6. I understand that you are experiencing lag and stuttering. You also shared that the rest of your games are working normally, this means that this issue is isolated on this game.

    To make sure that what you're experiencing is not related to your device cache, I would recommend that you perform a power cycle, kindly follow the steps below.

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

    2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 50 seconds.

    Important: Make sure that you wait at least 50 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

    3. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

    If you don't see the green boot-up animation when the console restarts, repeat these steps. Make sure that you hold the power button until the console completely shuts down.

    Important If your console is in Sleep mode, the above steps will shut the console off completely. Sleep mode, or the ability to turn on your console by saying "Xbox on," won't be enabled until you restart the console.

    I understand how frustrating this lag issue can be. You're not alone, a lot of Xbox players are reporting the same issue in BO6.

    If the PS5 and PC run fine on the same network, it's likely an Xbox-specific problem. Your NAT type might not be Open, which can cause connectivity issues.

    Try running a packet loss test in Xbox settings. It could also be a server-side issue affecting Xbox players specifically. Some have had luck reinstalling the game, clearing cache, or checking for updates. If this keeps happening, it's worth raising the issue with Activision support to see if the devs acknowledge it. Do you notice this in all modes or mainly in Ranked?

    Since your NAT type is open and it happens in all game modes, it's likely a widespread issue and not something wrong with your setup.

    You can report this issue to the Xbox Feedback Team. They collect reports on platform-specific issues, and if enough players are affected, it could get more attention. You can do this through the Xbox Insider Hub here:
