    I missed the deadline to migrate my Mojang account.

    Now, I need to purchase Minecraft again.

    Is there any way to activate my existing license?

    Some accounts are unable to play downloaded games after we transfered content licence to new xbox

    after completing the license transfer did you re-download minecraft to update the licenses. Try deleting minecraft and downloading it again. That should hopefully update the licenses.

    If it's only Minecraft it means that it is the Minecraft Bedrock Edition that is for Xbox only, the license of Minecraft Bedrock for PC is a different license. This is why we're experiencing the issue, xTCN123x.

    Thank you for that, Nutlike. Just a friendly reminder though that Minecraft on Xbox is a different license than is on Minecraft PC. They're both bedrock editions but the game licenses on both platforms are different.

    The promo or bundle is if you own Minecraft for Windows PC.

    Warnings were sent out via news articles, email, social media and many other resources for essentially a year before it happened.
