how do 3rd party websites know my bedrock skin (minecraft)

Yes when I try to change my skin in Minecraft Java my skin is stuck on the Alex skin but the same skin works for the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft . And I have tried using another skin but that too did not work .

I know that but Bedrock edition is suppose to be free to those that own another edition as its the new standard minecraft. But when i try to get it on my PC it says i need to buy bedrock edition even though i have it on Xbox

That and my skin packs arent working on bedrock which is a whole other anger point

that worked, but i can only play minecraft java with it. With other 3rd party apps(like curseforge for java, and bedrocklauncher for bedrock, both dont pirate minecraft) i managed to launch java and bedrock, but couldnt log into bedrock. When i play java, i always use curseforge, because i have a modpack with shaders and stuff like that, and for java i dont need to log in via xbox to play online. The problem is that i cannot log into bedrock, not even with other accounts.
