How to fix games not saving when playing offline only.

Which Xbox console do you have?

Does this happen with all games or only a specific game?

When you try to save, do you see an error message?

Since you don't have an internet connection, it might have something to do with your cloud saves configuration.

In this case, you can try to play the game in offline mode. It will save your progress locally. Then, when starting the game again online, it will sync the local save to the cloud. It might work to fix your issue but you will probably lose all the progress you made on your current save.

Yep happening to me also very annoying playing offline survival . Only fix seems to be to save and restart. I hope they fix it soon.

You can play the game offline to see if it loads the local save. But some games uses only cloud saving when online, so you might not have a local save different then the one in the cloud.

I figured out what caused it for me, it's when you connect to the larian account and enable cross saves, that what made the crashes start for me, so until they fix it the only way you are going to be able to play is to play the game in offline mode otherwise once you reconnect it will start crashing again, hopefully it's fixed soon
