    Hello everyone
    Im currently trying to download the minecraft launcher but i just cant, it takes so much time and after an hour of waiting it gives an error saying that it couldnt download at it will launch the old version wich it doesnt and still try to update it self. i have tested diffrent client like lunar client and it said that i havent purchased the game wich i have purchased. i would like you guys to help me out and tell me if it is possible to get a reffund.

    Get your act together.

    why use the launcher, i use minecraft direct without the launcher, you have the option to install minecraft with or without launcher in the xbox app.

    Minecraft "for windows" won't install on new launcher.

    For anyone still struggling with this the thing that finally got mine to work is uninstalling the launcher and installing "Minecraft for Windows + Launcher" rather than just "Minecraft Launcher." I hope this helps.

    When I click buy from the Minecraft launcher it takes me to this website https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/store/minecraft-java-edition?ref=Launcher I'm not logged in and it has the option to purchase Minecraft but after logging in to the that website with same Microsoft account that I had logged into the Minecraft launcher with the purchase option is replaced with Already own Minecraft? Download it again. and the launcher download button.
