Anna, there is currently no service alert on Xbox, please try the procedure below:

1. Delete your console account

*Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

*Select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Remove accounts.

*Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm.

2. Restart your Xbox One console

* Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

* Select Settings.

* Select all configurations.

* In Account, select Restart console.

* Re-add your account to the console

* Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

* Select Profile & System > Add or switch > Add new.

* Enter the email address for the Microsoft account that you want to add, and then select Enter.

*** Important Make sure that you do not select Get a new account, unless that’s what you want to do. If you select this, you’ll create a brand-new Microsoft account.

Same issue. Im trying the offline update. Does anyone know if Playstation has these types of issues? Im thinking about getting my son one of those so we can throw this xbox away.

No worries, it's the setting for Xbox Series S as well. By the way, what is the exact error or issue that your son is getting whenever he is trying to play or sign in on Xbox Series S?

I dont have the answer but we are having the same problem here in the UK.

My son types in his email and password and then we get a message saying wrong password or email please try again with the error code 8015D002.

I am hoping this is just a glitch. I have tried connecting with a chat ambassador but the problem keeps crashing.

Does anyone know what is going on or is it just a server issue?
