why doors my xbox keep freezing every time

I understand that you are experiencing freezing issues with your Xbox.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please check for overheating. Make sure your Xbox is in a well-ventilated area and not overheating. If it feels hot, turn it off and let it cool down for at least an hour before turning it back on.

And you have already restarted the Xbox however it is still freezing.

As a last resort, please do the factory reset. Since the device kept on freezing let us get the Start up troubleshooter:

Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.

Press and hold the Pair button and the Eject button on the console, and then press the Xbox button  on the console.

NOTE: The Xbox Series S and the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition do not have Eject buttons. You can bring up the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter on this console by holding only the Pair button (steps 3 and 4) and then pressing the Xbox button .

Continue holding the Pair and Eject buttons for 10-15 seconds.

Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the Pair and Eject buttons after the second power-up tone.

The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

Once you see it, please choose: "Reset Xbox"

When resetting the Xbox, make sure that you do not have any offline saves because it will be deleted. But if you are connected to your network when gaming there is no need to worry because your game saves is saved to the cloud and it won't be deleted from the system.

We will choose: "Reset and keep my games and apps"

Which means all of your games will remain installed on your Xbox.

The profile downloaded will be deleted but you always have the option to redownload them.

Once you reach the dashboard, please test it out.

the same thing happens to me every time i walk into the house my adtoped child asks for a present then his pet skiver appears around the door and my xbox freezes solid

I run into the issue every so often. Is your system in a well ventilated area? I kept my system in a tv stand that has closing doors and kept the doors closed and realized it was causing the system to slightly overheat so it would freeze up. Also leaving
it on while you're not playing can cause issues as well. Make sure your system is kept in an area where the fans can keep it cool. Hope this helps!

I also find that when I am in my $228,000 apartment it locks up too. Sometimes the screen freezes and other times it goes black. The only way to reset it is to hit power button on xbox. It kinda sucks because every time I start to play it spawns me in the
apartment on the couch and I have to make a mad dash for the door to enter the garage.

My Xbox One keeps freezing, I don't know why.
