To be able to reset your passkey on the Xbox please perform these steps:

Please enter an incorrect Pin. When prompted to enter your PIN on the console, enter any 6-digit combination three times.

And then after entering the incorrect PIN three times, you will be prompted to enter your Microsoft account password.

Once you've entered your Microsoft account password, you will have the option to create a new pin/passkey to your Xbox.

I was able to sign out of my son's account in the Microsoft Store- thank you. When I try to sign in to Microsoft Store again with my account, I enter my username and password, but then I get a prompt saying "To easily and securely access apps with <my email address>, you need to set it up with Windows Hello Face, Fingerprint, or PIN. If you already have it set up, we will automatically add it for this account. You may be asked to re-verify with Windows Hello." When I select OK, it asks for my PIN. When I enter what I think is my PIN, it says "The PIN is incorrect. Try again." When I select "I forgot my PIN", it says "You can reset your PIN by going to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in Options." Where? On the laptop? In my Microsoft account? We are logged into the laptop on my son's account, not my account.

I forgot my one so I logged in on another one and tried and it still didn't work so I tried to go in to family settings and asked for my pin and I don't know what the reset password is!

You can set a sign in option on your Microsoft account to use a pin instead of password.

How do I find my Windows pin?

To change your PIN in Windows 10, you may follow the steps below:

1. Open Settings (keyboard shortcut: Windows + I) > Accounts > Sign-in options.
2. Click the Change button under PIN.
3. Enter your current PIN; then, enter and confirm the new PIN underneath.
4. Tap I forgot my PIN.

If there is no parental controls involved, you can fix that by deleting your profile (profile only to keep your safed games)
