    Halo Infinite Crashing When Launching Campaign


    Multiplayer works just fine, when launching campaign it loads halfway and then crashes with no error message. although if i check the crashlog i get the following message: RIP: 00007FFCD5B3BB0A KERNELBASE!0x00007FFCD5B3BB0A for a mass storage drive but a different message: ### C++ Exception: 00007FFA87E5BB0A KERNELBASE!0x00007FFA87E5BB0A, but on the C: drive. for some reason it loads a bit further on the C: drive before crashing.
    Im playing on a PC with a ryzen 3700x, nvidia 3090 and game is installed on m.2 and on Xbox app.

    So far ive tried the following:
    reinstall the game
    update nvidia drivers
    rolled back nvidia drivers to multiple different. even drivers that worked for my friend.
    run as admin
    repair & verify game files
    run in compatabilty 7 & 8
    disabled fullscreen optimization
    clean reinstall whole Windows 11
    flash bios with latest update
    launched in different resolutions
    run with different windows profiles (both admin)
    run on different disks
    run without high res package
    disabled windows defender
    run without any other programs installed

    no matter what i do, the game crashes when i launch the campaign.

    All Xbox apps i use crash on load

    no unfortunately halo infinite and forza still result in a crash within a minute or two after launching

    Hi thanks for the reply, it's on the Xbox app and the app is up to date, the issue is with the Halo infinite (Campaign) one. It also give me the option to try and launch the game even tho it isn't even close to completely downloaded, when I use the option to launch the game nothing happens

    We understand that you are trying to play Halo Infinite and it constantly crash. Let us check on this together so you will get back to gaming.

    As per your description, whenever the campaign starts the game will crash. In which you perform some troubleshooting in the hope that this will resolve it. To better help you let us isolate your issue first. There are 3 things that causes your app/game to crash: system (overload, memory full, overheat), compatibility of apps/driver/device did not match and third party apps that is running and removing/disabling app or services in PC.

    To isolate your issue, we will ask for few questions, kindly answer.

    When did the issue start? Is there any possible changes/updates made before this happen?

    Do you have these apps - antivirus, antimalware, VPN, PC Optimizer or Firewall. Kindly temporary turn off or disable these if you will start the game.

    Is the Windows and Xbox app up-to-date?
