Xbox Wireless Headset is connected to my Xbox but no sound is heard.

Yesterday I bought a microsoft wireless headset for my Xbox series S. The headset is actually connected to the Xbox (icon upper right on the screen), but there is no sound coming from the headset. When I go to the audio options, I can actually see the bars on the screen going left and right when I turn the dials on the headset. All lights on the headset are on, but again, there is no sound. All sound goes through the TV I already updated the headset with the latest firmware. I get sound, but not through the headset.

I'm sure the headset works, because when I connect it to my phone, it works fine.

    I checked the audio settings:

I press the Xbox button on my Xbox controller to open the Guide.

Select Profiles & System > Settings > General > Audio Volume & Output.

Under Advanced Options, I selected Additional Options and then selected Chat Mixer. output is set to „Headphones“.

    I Reset the headphone equalizer:

I go to Headset Settings and checked the audio level in the equalizer. I reseted the headset equalizer level by selecting “Restore Defaults”.

    Re-pair the headset:

I disconnect the headset from the Xbox, then re-pair it. Im sure the headset is successfully paired with the console.

None of the above helped me.

    :)

    Headset connection direct to console?

It said I can hook up Amy headset with a 3.5 mm jack to it. I assume,Ed I could connect this to the controller. Then connect my 3.5mm wired headset to this to hear just team chat. Is that right or should I just connect the 3.5mm wired headset directly to
    the controller for team chat?

I don't like the headset that came with the console/ controller because it's so big. I just want a tiny headset like the 360 wireless headset was. So if I hook up a 3.5mm headset directly to the controller or via the stereo headset adapter ( which one?)
will I get mono team chat via the headset ( Kinevt will be unplugged) and game sound through my surround sound? I hate having conversations that occurr in my family room to be heard and either mocked or commented on- so Kinevt is out for chat. I have a 5.1
surround system hooked up so I don't want to hear people scream at the top of their lungs, as some do, through my speakers. Since Xbox sucks and has no headset like the wireless 360 headset, what are my options? I bought a wired 3.5 mm headset snd the headset
adapter, since idk what I need to use a wired headset? Csn I plug a wireless 360 official headset into the Xbox one controller with the cord that would lead to the power adapter, or is there a way to make the wireless 360 headset a wired one that'll be compatible
    with the Xbox one controller?

Incapable of Pressing A, a Factory Reset AND no sound??

Upon connecting a wireless headset, all sounds do come through it.

But none at all come through the TV the xbox is connected to.

[PC] Xbox Wireless Headset + Dolby Atmos = Audio Stuttering

Is your Headset connected to an xbox wireless adapter? Or do you have one from corsair?

Today I've tested the Xbox Wireless Headset on my Xbox One X with Dolby Atmos activated and had no problems in CoD: Warzone.
The headset I’m using is the RIG 700 wireless headset from Walmart. When I used it with Dolby atmos on my Xbox it worked fine. Now that I’ve move to PC it cuts out whenever I turn on spatial sounds in Warzone. I’ve turned spatial sounds on outside the game and I have no problems with the headset. I’m thinking it has something to do with that specific game.

Quick question about the 360 bluetooth wireless headset.

    ^

    Yes it is.

The standard wireless xbox headset sound is better then the standard xbox cable headset sound

    Headset wireless

I heard that a wireless headset causes interference with a wireless connection. That could be just a myth though.
