My Xbox Series S randomly stopped working

2 days ago, my xbox was working fine, and then yesterday it randomly couldn't connect or find any networks. I tried my hotspot as well, but for some reason it couldn't find that or my 2 home networks. I figured it was just a one night thing and got off for the night. Today, I tried again and it still had the same problem, no matter how many times I restarted my xbox or my router (my network was fine as I was connected on my phone and my roommate was on his playstation). I tried resetting my xbox and now I am stuck on the set up phase to connect to a network. Anyone know why this could be happening? Thanks.

Edit: If I try connecting through manually entering the SSID, I can get it to the "Checking Connection" part but it will still fail to connect. Also an ethernet is not an option for me unfortunately because I have apartment provided internet and the router has no ethernet port

I have a problem with my Xbox elite series 2 controller. It works fine while playing any other game but when I play fortnite it randomly stops working while playing, none of the buttons work even when I plug it in it doesn’t work but out of nowhere it starts working again and it happens over and over again. Hi Jeff, I hope you're doing well. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you.

Is an external hard drive plugged into your console? If yes, please unplug it and perform a power cycle on your console.

Please follow the steps to Power Cycle your Console:

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If there is no external hard drive plugged into your console, I highly recommend trying to connect your console via wired or LAN cable. If it worked, kindly check if there's a pending system update on your console.

If you've managed to connect a LAN cable to your console but there is still no connection, there's a possibility that your console has a hardware or software issue and it would be best to have it checked or repaired.

They are wireless and all work, in fact I was using my newest one earlier the same day. While I was on hold for an hour and 15 minutes it randomly started working again. The only thing I did during that time was dust my Xbox series x. So I don’t know if it just needed to be cleaned or why it stopped working but it randomly started working again.

My controller stop working too series x , factory controller . Last night working and today my samsung tv remote control my xbox and the xbox controller no longuer view by the xbox , i use another controller from my other xbox seris s , and this controller work but not the one work last night , i try the little button to match xbox with but nothing , the controller do no longuer view on my xbox series x , can control de series s but can't be view or connect to the series x anymore
