WWZ : Aftermath eats all of my RAM

Hello

I have a problem, so i installed WWZ : aftermath last night and when i try to play the game, there are crazy glitches and flickering inside of the game.

I immediately follow the instructions which to install DXVK and copy it to the game folders.

When i finished doing that and open the game, it says "Warming up shaders cache" and after waiting a bit longer my screen turned black (the screen still turned on) thankfully i still managed to open new desktop and kill WWZ process using task manager, i immediately relaunch the game and see what's happening when the game warming up the shaders, i noticed that my RAM usage keeps increasing even i got low memory warning.

I suddenly closed the game, and try older version of DXVK (2.3.1) and it still the same.

From my conclusion is that this game has a problem with Intel iGPUs, and maybe only optimized for AMDs GPUs, 'cause it shows AMD Ryzen | Radeon on the splash screen.

Can anyone help me?

Specs:

CPU: i5-12600H

GPU: Intel iRIS Xe

RAM: 24GB LPDDR5

SSD: 512GB NVMe

Windows 11 24h2.

From your description, I understand that you found that the game was glitching and flickering when running WWZ: Aftermath, and the RAM usage was also increasing. I understand your confusion about this problem.

The black screen, increasing memory usage, and possible Intel iGPU compatibility issues you mentioned are indeed possible compatibility issues between the game and some integrated graphics cards (such as Intel Iris Xe). Such problems usually occur when the game is not optimized for integrated graphics or takes up too many resources when processing graphics rendering.

DXVK mainly replaces DirectX 11 through Vulkan rendering, but this may cause compatibility issues with Intel iGPU in some cases, especially when the integrated graphics card is not specially optimized to support Vulkan.

Sometimes permission issues may prevent the application from starting properly. Try right-clicking the program and selecting Run as administrator.

Right-click the application and select "Properties". In the pop-up window, switch to the "Compatibility" tab. Here, check the option to "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and select an earlier Windows version like Windows 10, Windows 8, or Windows 7 from the drop-down menu.

It seems to be a problem with the game, I recommend contacting the game developer to report the bug.

Not working for me, even with a full PC shutdown. (this is for WWZ season pass, DLC weapon packs and Aftermath.) Its like only the free base game is available and all the DLC content is completely locked out.

When you try to click on the DLC content ingame for Marseille or many of the weapon packs, I get this error:

PEX-CatalogAvailabilityDataNotFound

However if I do same for the Rome or Kamchatka (aka aftermath episodes) I get:

PUR-UserAlreadyOwnsContent

really? it eats up like 4gb of my ram at launch and never goes down
