    I'm getting this weird error for some reason when trying to launch minecraft.


    Hello,

    I am encountering an issue when trying to run minecraft on my Windows system. The error message states:

    "Unable to locate the Java runtime. Error details: 0x00000000 - system: unknown error

    Filename on disk:

    Path: .

    Exists: Directory"

    I have tried checking my Java installation, but I am still getting this error. Could you please assist me in resolving this issue?

    You are getting this error on Windows, right? Are you trying to play Minecraft Java or Minecraft for Windows?

    Do you get this error when trying to launch Minecraft or when trying to install it?
