How to clear cache without the Xbox button?

Hello, I've been having a lot of problems with my Xbox one S, and a lot of the solutions are to clear the cache. But that's not possible for me, since the Xbox button on my console is unresponsive and will not press. Is there any other way for me clear the cache without using the power button?

    Thanks -K

    :)

How to clear cache without the Xbox button?

Hi, Ya I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Xbox console. No worries, I'm happy to assist you with this today.

No, there is no other way. But you can reset the console this way:

IMPORTANT: Make sure to remember the email and password for the account before taking these steps.

On your controller, press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info > Reset console.
Select "Reset and keep my games & apps

    Thank you!

    HOW TO CLEAR CACHE ?

    Hello LEGENDARYGAB

    To clear the system cache

    1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.
    2. Select Storage or Memory.

1. Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller. (It doesn't matter which storage device you select; the cache will be cleared for all storage devices.)
    2. Select Clear System Cache.

1. When prompted to confirm storage device maintenance, select Yes.

Clearing the Xbox 360 cache does not remove:

    • Your gamertag
    • Content that you have downloaded
    • Game files
    • Console software updates
    Clearing the cache temporarily removes:

    • Previously downloaded game updates. You will be prompted to download these updates again the next time you try to play the games.

    HOW TO CLEAR CACHE ?

    Hi,

System Cache clears all of those game cache as well as updates to the games. It's usually the first thing to try if something is not working properly with one of your games that recently had an update.

    How to clear system cache

It shouldn't have deleted the game save. Can you navigate to the Memory section, choose your storage device, then check in your Games folder, choose the relevant game, and look for the game save? Is it there, or missing?
