"Add-on | Doesn't need to be installed" How to fix this?

It is indeed very frustrating to encounter the error “Add-on | Installation Not Required”, especially after purchasing the Forza Motorsport Deluxe Edition and then not being able to get the additional content you paid for. This issue usually involves the activation or installation of the game's DLC (downloadable content). Here are some steps to resolve this issue and help you recover your purchased add-on content:



1. Verify that the DLC has been properly added to your account
First, make sure the Deluxe Edition add-on content you purchased has been added to your Microsoft account.
Verify that you have a purchase history in the Microsoft Store, or check your order history in the Xbox app.
You can try restarting the game to see if it triggers the download or activation of the DLC.



2. Check in-game DLC activation
When launching Forza Motorsport, it is sometimes necessary to manually download additional content. Check if there is an in-game DLC option:
Open Forza Motorsport.
Look for DLC or additional content in the main game screen or in the settings menu.
If there is an option, see if you can manually launch or download the add-on.



3. Restart Xbox or PC

If so, check your My games & apps > See all > Manage > Updates – it may be waiting as an available update.

You nee to install the game first

The disc grants youn rights tomthe game, you don’t have digital rights. Install the game and follow the prompts.
