    How can I fix the “you need to authenticate to Microsoft services” bug


    I’m trying to join a friends world and a screen pops up saying “you need to authenticate to Microsoft services” I’m not even sure what that means or how to authenticate it. we have tried everything to fix it but nothing is working I don’t know what to do and can someone do something to fix it?

    I understand that you are having problems not being able to log in to Minecraft and I understand your confusion.



    Also, some players have said that setting the time zone is not correct to cause this problem, you can refer to this link:

    To fix this, try deleting and adding the Microsoft account again: In the Authenticator app, try deleting your current Microsoft account, add it again, and scan the QR code again to link it again.

    Then, log back into Minecraft

    Try restarting your device, uninstalling, and reinstalling the game to see if the problem persists.

    Since you have tried all the possible steps here to sort out the issue. There seems to be an issue with the game only. Would it be fine if you can try contacting Mojang support for further advice? You will need to report the bug to them so that they can provide a fix for it.
