    Hello,

    I'm looking for recommendations for Xbox games that can support 6-8 local players and that tend to generate a lot of conversation among the players. This is for a "language learning through video games" course. Trying to steer clear of violent games. Thank you.

    Xbox One games Split Screen/Local Play?

    U can go up to 8 players on a XB1( 6 accounts and 2 guess).. But don't ask what game that support 8 players.

    I wounder how many accounts the xbox one can have on it

    The Kinect 2.0 limits the Xbox One to 6 active profiles, meaning access to the dashboard and whatnot.

    That doesn't mean the Xbox One is limited to the 6 accounts overall or even 6 accounts logged into Live.

    If some game supports it (a trivia game perhaps), you could have 16 players: 8 controllers + 8 SmartGlass devices.

    I'm kinda worried that the griefers will go around stabbing players instead of playing Gun Game the way it's supposed to be played.

    Anyways, if the player limit is around 6-8 players then I ain't worried.

    Kinect = $98 at Walmart , Bestbuy , and Futureshop

    For the Kinect they recommend about 8 feet but I stand between 5-6 feet myself.
