    Help me fix this please I’ve tried everything I know to try


    My xbox series S says MTU issuses and i looked it up amd it says reboot it and the router i have tried that and it sill says the same thing but when i try to hop on human fall flat it says failed to MTU issues but i can get on any other online game and it runs just perfectly

    What do i need to try?

    I’m open for any suggestions at this point

    Captures are uploaded to Xbox Network, but they aren't there?

    Besides contacting etc.

    Is there any way to fix it? I’ve tried everything suggested and there’s no fix.. please help 🙏

    Hi Shad0wmanUK,

    Did exactly what you said (missed the WPA2 (AES) part to begin with but fixed it) and worked PERFECTLY! No IP address error! No NAT error! Nothing! :) Apparently, I had never updated the firmware. Mine dated back to 2007. I really appreciate the quick response/help!
    Hopefully this can help others too.

    Hi,

    • First of all restore your Xbox networks settings back to factory defaults and leave them like that
    • Secondly remove any port forwarding from the Dlink and keep UPnP enabled
    • Ensure your Dlink is using the very latest version of firmware (IMPORTANT) check the website for an update don't rely on a routers internal firmware update check
    • Try using WPA2-PSK(AES) for your security instead (make any changes like this when wired to the router not over wireless, this change will also mean any other wireless clients will have to reconnect to the network again)
