  1. Can I see the email address of a family member who was removed from the family group?

My son's email was "hacked" (he gave someone a log in code) and then his account was changed to some other email address. Thus when I try to recover the account, the form says that his account does not exist. Is there a way to see the email address that the person changed it to before they were removed from the family group?

    :)

I want to move my account onto a new family member. Will my attached child account move as well?

That does not work. It says

"Family members under statutory age need an adult's consent to join a family group. Only the adult that granted consent for Adam can remove this family member. Ask the family organiser who granted Adam consent to remove Adam from the family group."

However, that is me and my email address. I've logged out again and logged back in and it makes no difference. I even tried the "reclaim the adult account" - it goes straight back to my login.

Is it possible to remove a child account from xbox family settings?

Hi! i went to that first link and tried to remove him to re-add him but it says the following :

You can't remove ***** from the family group

Family members under statutory age need an adult's consent to join a family group. Only the adult that granted consent for Dylan can remove this family member. Ask the family organiser who granted Dylan consent to remove Dylan from the family group.

How to remove member from family group (usual way not working)?

    Hello Tori_Bell!

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community.

I can see that you're having trouble removing a member from your family group. If the usual way of removing a member from a family group is not working, you can try the following steps:

    1. Sign in to your Microsoft account and go to the Microsoft Family website.

    2. Click on the "Manage family members" option.

    3. Select the family member you want to remove and click on "Remove from family".

    4. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the removal.

Please see: Remove yourself or a family member from your family group on Xbox | Xbox Support

If this still doesn't work, you can contact Microsoft support for further assistance. They will be able to help you resolve the issue.

I need help, how do I remove my kids from an old family account and allow them to accept the invite to be added to the family group on my new account?

    Hello Chelsea!

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

To remove your kids from the old family account, you will need to sign into the old account and remove them from the family group. Since you have mentioned that the organizer Microsoft account has an old, deactivated email address, you may still be able to access the Microsoft account. just by entering the same password and the email address of the account.

Here are the steps to do so:

    1. Sign into the old account at account.microsoft.com/family.

    2. Select the child you want to remove from the family group.

    3. Select "Remove from family group" and confirm the action.

Once you have removed your kids from the old family account, you can then send them an invite to join your new family group. Here are the steps to do so:

    1. Sign into your new account at account.microsoft.com/family.

    2. Select "Add a family member."

    3. Enter your child's email address and select "Send invite."

    4. Your child will receive an email invitation to join your family group. They will need to accept the invitation to join.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions.

    Sincerely,

    Microsoft Community Moderator

Are you the adult that added his account?
