Will series x play Skyrim 360 disc ?

Looking at a new console but not if I can't play in modded Skyrim.

No there is not. Everyone gets the same, current version.

Pirate or otherwise modified software or attempting hardware modification can result in account and hardware bans.

Is there a newer regular game version without any dlc available for any newer console that will play a disc version after 360 ? I don't like the mods or the aquarium or dawngaurd. I play 360 no dragons no dawngaurd no mods and I am willing to invest in a new console but I am not willing to invest in a screwed up Skyrim. Thanks again.

No. The 360 version is not backwards compatible.

if it is a backward compatible 360 game (you'll find a list in the internet or just try it out) you can play it on your Series X.

The disc shows the system only that you own the game. It will then download a Series X compatible version of the 360 game.

As long as the disc is inside the console you'll be able to play it.
