how can I play the halo ce campaign with a friend?

Halo CE has the best campaign by far.

Stay clear of ODST ... its the worst one and campaign is boring (only good for firefight which Reach and Halo CE have)

You can go from Halo CE straight to Reach. I would borrow Halo 2 for a week to finish campaign from one of your friends because Multiplayer has low replay value because its so outdated.

It actually started with Reach so to do the storyline in order you would have to go Reach, Halo CE, Halo 1, Halo 2, Halo 3. I dont recommend Halo ODST at all.



Personally I would grab a couple co-op partners and play Halo 3 first. I know it sounds strange to say that but I personally feel Halo 3 had THE most fun campaign. If you do play Halo CE Anniversary make sure you get a friend to play co-op with because
it can be very hard to navigate through Halo CE. At least with a friend you have a chance to make it a little easier getting around some of these levels. Its very easy to get lost in Halo CE.

[/quote]So your friend wanted a Multiplayer component that only worked via Splitscreen or system link? I think making a blanket statement saying Halo CE is awesome and Halo CEA is bad is not a valid opinion, becausze at their core they are exactly the same
game. Clarifying that statement as saying Halo CE's Splitscreen/System link Multiplayer was great and Halo CEA's Reach Multiplayer is not is a valid opinion. Because it seems that most people like myself think of the halo Campaign when people talk about Halo
CE and Halo CEA, not the Multiplayer add on.

The funny thing is a lot of the people who claim Halo CEA is terrible while Halo CE is awesome, have never played Halo CEA.

I hope so too and that it has all or most of the content from the original. I got Halo 3 at the start of last year barely played it. Played it with a friend did co-op campaign a few days ago, but we didn't even finish the first campaign mission. I love Halo
Reach and Halo 4. Sometimes play Halo Wars, rarely play CE Anniversary and Halo 3. I will definitely get Halo MCC as soon as it's out.
