    Chat filter broken in Ark Survival Ascended


    Hi,

    I recently subscribed to Gamepass for windows to play Ark Survival Ascended. Can I ask why, when playing in single player mode and searching for a compost bin in the crafting menu, does a chat filter censor it to **mpost bin? I have searched how to disable the chat filter and seemingly I could do this on an xbox but all instructions given do not work for PC.

    Honestly makes the game unplayable without having to spend ages sifting through menus. If this isn't fixable could you tell me how I can request a refund for my gamepass subscription? I would rather just purchase the game on steam than have to deal with this nonsense.

    You can adjust the message filtering.

    Please, follow these steps:

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Privacy & online safety > Message safety > Unfiltered.

    After it's done, power cycle your console:

    Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

    Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 60 seconds.

    Important Be sure to wait at least 60 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

    Plug the console power cable back in.

    Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

    You can try to change your connection DNS.

    Please, follow these steps:

    Go to Profile and System > Settings

    In the Settings menu, select General > Network settings.

    Select the network you're connected to, then select Advanced settings > Manual

    On the DNS field, input these:

    Primary: 8.8.8.8

    Secondary: 8.8.4.4

    Save settings.

    Let me know if it works!
