    Why am I not receiving what I paid for?


    I have had a reoccurring charge for a Minecraft Java realm that I have been using for the past few months. Recently though, after again renewing my subscription on the 22 of January, In the minecraft app it says that my subscription is expired. How can I fix this? In microsoft it says I have the subscription for this month but for some reason I can't use it even though it doesn't end until the 22 of February. I have turned off reoccurring payments for now but I also accidently purchased a new realm while trying to "renew" my subscription so im pretty annoyed.

    Edit: After i canceled the reoccurring payment it fixed never mind.

    First thing that we need to verify is the payment for your Realms subscription. Kindly check it here: https://account.microsoft.com > Order history.

    To verify the status of the subscription check it here: https://account.microsoft.com.com>;; Services and subscription.

    Once you have verified that the payment was successfully made under your account kindly restart your Minecraft game.

    Kindly give an update if the Minecraft Realms subscription shows paid and active on your account.

    Beforehand, it is important that you keep in mind that this is a public community forum, so we are players like you, we are not employees of Microsoft or Xbox, so we do not have access to any user account or check anything from the forum. All users help each other with common problems.

    Note: This is a public forum therefore, I suggest you not share your personal information.

    I am very sorry for the problem you are going through. For this type of case I suggest you request a REFUND for this, there is a form, which is as follows:

    https://support.xbox.com/forms/request-a-refund

    There you will have to fill out the form with some information that will be requested and you should know that in case the refund request is rejected, you will have to respond to the email they sent you explaining the reason for your refund so that the team in charge can review the request again.

    You should also know that game refunds must be made before 14 days have passed since the game was purchased and the game has not been played for a long time, that is, considerable hours of play have not been accumulated. Otherwise, if these prerequisites are not met, the game cannot be refunded.

    Subscriptions can be refunded within 30 days of purchase.

    We understand that you are trying to add a phone number on Microsoft account and you were unable to receive a code. Let us check on this together and sort this out in timely manner.

    As the phone number will require a code to be received, you may need to use a mobile number. There is a possibility that the phone number could be added to multiple Microsoft account or else, you will have to restart your phone or wait for few hours. We would like to isolate your issue and ask for few questions:

    • May we know if you have issues receiving codes or messages or notification from other online services?
    • May we ask when did this issue happen? Also, in what game, device and what website this issue happen.
    • Do you have antivirus, antimalware, VPN, firewall, proxy and PC Optimizer (or something like game accelerator) used in your device?
    • Can we ask for a screenshot of the issue? Please conceal personal information like full name, email address and gamertag.
    • Can we ask in what country/region are you residing? Please do not provide complete address.
    • Also, is your Microsoft account match the same country/region?
    Please try if this will help you receive your code:

    1. Send yourself a text message. See if you can receive it.
    2. Put your phone on airplane mode for at least two to three minutes and turn it off to see if you are receiving the codes.
    3. Restart your phone. Wait if there are new messages that you will receive after doing so.
    4. Try to add another phone number to see if this could be specific issue of your current number.
    5. Contact your phone number provider to see if there is an issue in your area that could have cause this.
    6. Lastly, you may wait for at least 48 - 72 hours before adding the same phone number to your account.
