    Xbox Series S Controller Issue


    I have an issue with mic connection to my controller. The mic is a Turtle Beach Recon 50 wired headset that plugs into the controller. I recently purchased a new xbox controller given that my other gave out. I'm starting to believe that it is the controller that's the problem given that when I connect my headset to my PS5 controller the mic works fine but it becomes an issue when I use an Xbox controller. When I twist the headphone jack I hear static coming into the headphones but I'm not able to communicate or hear my friends speaking. Any help would be appreciated.

    Xbox Series X|S controllers are fully compatible with the Xbox One, One S and One X. Also the Xbox One controllers work on the new Series consoles.

    Xbox Series X|S controllers are fully compatible with the Xbox One, One S and One X. Xbox One controllers also work on the new Series consoles.

    Xbox wireless controllers, including the latest Xbox Wireless Controllers included with the Xbox Series X and Series S consoles, are compatible with the Xbox Series S. In addition, some older Xbox One wireless controllers work with the Xbox Series S. As for third-party wireless controllers, the compatibility depends on the specific controller and whether it is designed to work with the Xbox wireless protocol. The Ant eSports controller you mentioned appears to be a third-party controller designed for PC gaming, and it may not be compatible with the Xbox Series S.
