Losing access to some games.

Hey I've recently had an issue on my Xbox where I've lost access to a couple games or the dlc of a couple of games. The two ones I've discovered so far is Hitman 3 and The Elder Scrolls Oblivion. I've lost all access to Hitman and most of my dlcs for Oblivion. It's asking that I repurchase these items but I have saves, achievements, and resources in games that are linked to these missing entities. Not sure if there's a fix or at least some kind of good reason as to why it's there. It makes ne extremely hesitant to purchase anything on my Xbox anymore.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

All the completed orders on your account is saved to your Order history real time.

Kindly verify your game purchase to your account by checking your Order history here: account.microsoft.com > Order history.

Once you see the game there you should have the option to install the game.

It is the games license that'll enable you to install and then play the game.

To find your games on the Xbox please press the Xbox button  to open the guide, and then select My games & apps > See all.

Under Full library > Owned games, you'll see all games that you own with the profile that's signed in to the console.

If a game that you own hasn't been installed on your console, there's a download icon on the game title. Selecting the title prompts you to install the game before you can play it.

Hello Ezra Hagg,

The game is no longer available on the platform, which is a strange situation.

As for The Elder Scrolls Oblivion, the game seems to still be available, so there's a big question mark there too.

The only way I can help you at the moment is to contact Microsoft support and check with Xbox support with proof of purchase.

I'm still investigating if I find anything I'll get back to you.

So your saying when your not online, you lose access to some games? Which games in particular? There are some games which require internet access to play.

This situation of losing access to the games we have bought, can really be bad. Now with the elimination of some titles from telltale games, we know that unexpectedly we could lose the opportunity to play.

yes as all your online activity from ea games is stored on ea under that account.

in some instances you can also lose access to some content.

same happens with epic and ubisoft too.
