    One more thought about deleting Xbox account


    Hi,

    I have already read that Xbox account is not possible to delete without deleting Microsoft account.

    I want to say just how unfair it feels, before I have used Microsoft account only for email and skype and everything was fine.

    But after I created Xbox profile I started to get lot of log in attempts from different IP adresses (yes, I have changed the password)

    I want to say just how silly it looks to me to let people add some feature (Xbox profile) and then not be able to revert it back.

    My microsoft account was working fine without Xbox profile and now cannot do without it?

    It really needs some thoughts it's like someone at Microsoft decided "ok let's do it this way" and doesn't care that lot of people are annoyed with it.

    Hi,

    I thought about that too and deleted all captures (photos and videos) on my Xbox One X. It did not solve the problem.

    Do you happen to have more than one profile on your xbox because I had xbox fitness working too so I thought back to when it did work and I remembered I only had one account on my console so I removed the second account and my xbox fitness, after uninstalling
    and reinstalling, started working again. Try deleting any extra account and see if that works. Hope you found this useful :)

    That's what I thought but there is no suspension on my second account. Would you recommend calling Xbox in the morning to figure out more about the problem with my second account?

    Xbox accounts cannot be deleted!

    Xbox support can help you "Scrub" information from the account but not delete it.

    Accounts are usually deleted from the system after about 10 years of inactivity, so you may have to wait some time for it to delete its self.

    I need to move this Gamer Tag from this old email to my active Microsoft account.

    You know what I'd also be fine with deleting both profiles! So fine there is no name change I'd just setup a new profile with the Gamer Tag I want from the first since there is nothing on these xbox accounts but no one thought to suggest that. Guess I'll have to call again and hope there isn't magically no way to delete profile cause I can only find one at the Microsoft account layer not at the Xbox Live account but I need to delete both Xbox accounts without losing the Microsoft accounts they are tied to.
