Setting Screen Time Limits on Organizer Profile

I set up the Xbox incorrectly and my child (14) has to login as me (the adult/organizer). How can I either set a screen time on the organizer login or move him to another account without losing all his gaming profile progress/levels attached to it?

    :)

    Hello Nate,

    Thanks for posting your question!

You could create a new account for your child. You’ll need to set up a new Microsoft account for your child and add them to your family group in Xbox Family Settings. Unfortunately, progress can't be directly transferred from one Microsoft account to another.

After creating their own account, you can set screen time limits for that specific account under Settings > Account > Family settings.

Unfortunately, the game progress will remain tied to the original account, so your child will need to continue using that account to maintain their progress or start new on their account.

Let me know if you have any other questions and I'll be here to support you!

Note: Just a friendly reminder that this is a public forum, I will try to get back to you as soon as possible.

Thx, tho not the answer I was hoping for. Is there a way to set screen time limits for the organizer?

Set a time limit on xbox on organizer profile

Nothing can be transferred between accounts and you can't set time limits on an adult account. So it's either have him start over on the child account or let him use the organizer account without time limits.

Limit screen time on organizer account

I have the same question and understand that I can not set limits on the organizer. So is there a way to change the organizer of the account to a member so my child will not loose his games/friends?

Limit screen time on organizer account

You can not limit the base "parent" account. Only children. The xbox is on the parent account. So, it can't be limited unless you loose a lot of game profile data.
