Hey I’d really love if I could get direct assistance with this please. So I got an account on Minecraft called HolyDivine1876 and I forgot the Microsoft account associated with it. If I could have that that I could use the forget option to access it through my phone linked. But sadly I don’t have the email name or password. I made a new outlook account and tried to it link it and it won’t link so I’m wondering if I could get help with the username tied to the account, removing it from my ps5 so I can buy another version of Minecraft or simply switching the link account with my current account used to send this email. I don’t mind going through a very detailed security setup to make it happen cause I got all the facts and information needed if you’ll just give me the chance.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to unlink the account via the Microsoft once it has been linked;

In this case, I recommend that you contact PlayStation Support to ask which Microsoft account your PS account is linked to, as only they have this information and see if they can help;

Hi I kinda have the same problem. On my PS5 I have a old Microsoft account linked to my Minecraft and no longer have access to the old Microsoft account and just need it unlinked so I can put my new Microsoft account on it so I can play cross platform

Which gamertag is linked to your Microsoft account? The new one or the old one? My guess would be that your old account is still linked to your Microsoft account and you are trying to use the new gamertag but the old one is interfering. Check this link out
