    combat flight simulator downloads but won't open/run


    After downloading the game CFS3, I see the screen with choices of play and register one choice lead to a 404 screen and the other an xbox screen with no icon to register the for license. Shouldn't I have seen a license screen before anything?

    I selected compatibility mode and chose windows 7 and the reply from my windows 11 24h2 said the changes were ready, or something positive like that, but but still cfs3 would open.Other postings I've seen on line describe its running in 10 and 11

    given that the game is nearly 25 years old I would guess that it's no longer compatible

    Well, these games aren't flight simulators though.

    If you want a combat flight simulator go check out the Digital Combat Simulator series.

    But because I'm not that into flight simulators, arcade-like games such as the ones Gaijin make are perfect for me.

    I don't have to look around a screen flippin' switches, turnin' dials, and I don't have to purchase a super-serious joystick to enjoy blasting things.

    Microsoft Flight Simulator was also discontinued for PC as well, and I know a lot of people were sad about that. There are very few flight simulators on the console as is, you're right. I've heard the Ace Combat series of games are pretty good flight
    simulator-ish games that a lot of people enjoy.

    Fight stick issues with adaptive cobtroller.

    I think you misread my title it was fight without an l as in Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Killer instinct, not flight with an L as in Flight Simulator, Ace Combat, Top Gun.

    If a different department deals with fight sticks please let me know so that I don't waste the flight simulator people's time.
