Child keeps getting suspended

Good evening,

I'm having an issue that I hope someone can help me with. My son (15 years old) has gotten his Xbox account suspended 3 times in 2 weeks and we have no idea why. I can't seem to find a way to ask why either. It's weird because the first time it happened, I told him he had to do or say something wrong, but he promised he didn't. Then 2 days after the suspension ended, he was suspended again and now a 3rd time with increasing penalties.

I really don't have an issue if these suspensions are from something he is doing but the last time, the only thing he did was just talk between him and his girlfriend while playing Minecraft and he's suspended again with no explanation why. My fear is he's being targeted by someone who knows him or that he played with or against and they just keep reporting him over and over every time they see him come online.

How would we go about finding what the issue is and how would we prevent people from falsely reporting someone over and over if that's what's really happening?

You would have to go to the enforcement site for information about the suspensions and to see about submitting a case review. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/family-online-safety/enforcement/how-to-submit-a-case-review

False reporting/spam reporting doesn't work. The enforcement team will only issue a suspension if someone does something to violate the rules.

The enforcement team are the only ones who handle suspensions, so no one else could suspend your son. They may be reporting him, but the enforcement team investigates every complaint they receive and will only issue a suspension if they have determined a
person has done something to violate the code of conduct. Suspension length varies depending on the severity of the situation as well as any previous enforcement actions. So they do get longer the more suspensions are issued.

If you've already submitted a case review on the enforcement site, you would either need to wait for their response, or wait for the suspension to end if they upheld their decision. As it's only 10/21 the suspension would not have been lifted yet if it is
set to end on the 27th.

Thanks for your post. It seems like the suspension date has not been reached yet. The date you have posted calls for Saturday, October 27th of 2018. If you'd like to appeal this suspension please visit the
Enforcement Website to submit a case review, and the enforcement team will be happy to take a look.

Since this is an enforcement action, we will no longer be able to assist and all inquiry must be taken through enforcement.

sorry i forgot to mention, that i have already emailed a few times before and i was expecting it to be lifted by now...that is waaayyyyy too long of a time for suspension, and i think something is up
