I recently got a new xbox but forgot my email

I believe my old (2007) Xbox account had an old email that I don't have anymore so I changed it to my recent email. Now that maybe a problem it was so long ago that I forgot about it till now.

nevermind y'all, I just got my helmet. forgot that I was hooked up to xbox live rewards, so I checked my email associated with that and retrieved the code. got a much fancier email, too, commemorating the 10 year anniversary.

I am still not getting promotional emails from xbox engage... this is despite making all the email changes listed above. I simply give up.

My friend has got two new emails from xbox engage recently in regards to the new xbox unveiling. Can someone from support advise me how best to proceed???

When I tried to switch, it seemed that you could only change emails on one WLID, not switch gamertags from one WLID to another. Also, all of the emails are active, except for WLID A's email, which was a mistake when I was setting up my xbox live account
(I forgot the last three digits). I got it fixed (kinda), because I forgot my password, and now I have a new one for WLID A because I called customer service, but that is also why ArchMage227 and GuidedTripod4 are on the same WLID account.

Forgot to add, I couldnt verify my new email because I got the following message:

Your email address wasn't verified

This email address couldn't be verified because the wrong Microsoft account may have been entered. Try signing in with another Microsoft account.

Although I followed the link from my email that was sent from my microsft account
