Can’t enter the Minecraft because the wrong email is automatically filled

I am sorry to hear you're having issues trying to sign in using a different account. To assist you better, could you please provide the following details?

- Does this issue occur with a specific game or all games?

- When did the issue first start?

- Are you using Windows 10 or 11?

- Were there any changes made to your PC before the issue began?

In the meantime, I suggest performing the following steps to see if it works.

Step 1:

1. Manually restore store settings:

a) Press the Windows + R keys to open the Run window.

b) Type wsreset.exe and press the Enter key to execute the command.

3. Wait for the process to finish.

Step 2:

There are two directories in

C:\Users\"Your Profile Name here"\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider_8wekyb3d8bbwe\AC\TokenBroker

Accounts and Cache. Each folder has one file in it. Delete them both.

For this step, you will need to open File Explorer > Then go to Local C Disk Drive > Go to Users folder > Inside this folder, you should see the folder name you used to sign in to Windows > Then AppData folder.

Note: If you're not seeing AppData Folder, it is probably Hidden. You need to go Folder Options to unhide hidden folders.

Step 3: Please click Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & Feature > Look for the apps Microsoft Store, Xbox App, Minecraft Launcher and Gaming Services. Click on each App > Advance Options Click Repair then Click on Reset.

After this, Restart your PC then sign back in to see if you can sign in using different account. If it does not resolve the issue, proceed to Step 4:

Step 4: Create a new local user account on your PC, download the Minecraft launcher using that account, and check if the same issue occurs.

Yes I filled out that form and received an email back saying the information was not enough to recovery the account. The problem is Microsoft does not recognize Minecraft accounts and Minecraft can’t help with accounts because of the migration. I asked Microsoft if they can get us a Minecraft credit so he can download Minecraft again and create a new account but no response.

I can't fill the recovery form because they changed the email, it says "The Microsoft account you've entered does not exist."

Thanks for the reply. It seems as though the email on the Xbox is incorrect because it has a spelling error. Would this be because I might have previously entered it wrong? I feel that if I could change that email to the correct spelling I would be able
to accept the terms of use. Is there a way to do this? Because on the Xbox it is automatically locked in, and there seems to be no way of changing it.

I've also tried accept the terms of use online but after entering the email and new password it just takes me back to the "accept terms of use" page without accepting them.

This is all really confusing haha.

Did you completely fill out the email address correctly where the password reset code should be sent to?

Kindly double check the information you entered because it's possible that it's not the right email you entered which may only look like identical as the email address being shown there is masked.
