    I am at my wit's end trying to help my son get his "Live" account unblocked. I understand why it was blocked. LONG story short - he was hacked back in November. He spent a week trying to recover everything. We now have two-factor authorization on all his accounts. The problem is that during that 1-week window when the "hacker" had access - he/she charged 3 "Skype" Calls (or whatever they are) to my credit card. We challenged the 3 charges because it was at a time he did not have access and he has never Skyped nor anyone else in our home. The account was locked after the credit card company reported those charges.

    We have filled out the form - multiple times. We have submitted the 2-factor information. We have done everything I can think of. We can't get a "call back" from Microsoft Support because he can't log in - because it is locked. That is the whole problem.

    I would gladly give all account information to Microsoft. If I could talk with someone I can give them the credit card information he had on file originally. I can give information on games he purchased. Anything that is needed.

    Please help.

    Please try the steps below:

    1. To unblock your windows live id follow these steps
    2. Go to accounts.live.com and sign in.
    3. Select continue when it says your account has been blocked.
    4. Go to the email address shown and check the email.
    5. Get the code from the email, and put the code where its appropriate.
    6. Your account is now unblocked.
    Let me know if that worked for you.

    then you will have to post in the suspension forum (last forum at the bottom of the support page) they can tell you why the account was suspended (make sure you give them the correct name so they can give you the info).
