Minecraft is prompting me to buy it again

I'm sorry to hear you're having this issue. Can you please try to check if Minecraft PC Bundle is listed in your order history? Make sure to set the filter to "All Available". https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders

If it is listed in there, please do this:

1. Press the Windows Logo Key + R to open the Run dialog box, type wsreset.exe, and then select OK.

2. Once that is done, please try to logout your account in the Microsoft Store application and then log back in. Make sure you are using the same account in both Minecraft Launcher and Microsoft Store.

If the issue will persist, I recommend downloading the Xbox app then login your Microsoft account in there. After logging in, try to launch Minecraft Launcher from there and if possible, try to uninstall your current Minecraft Launcher and then re-install it directly from the Xbox app.

It prompts me to buy it again

The error i mentioned that happened after i clicked buy it now the first time and it said i do indeed have minecraft. After clicking ok, and error saying "sorry we were unable to get your account information. please restart your launcher" appeared in the top left. When i restarted nothing changed and when i clicked buy it now again i am now instead prompted to buy minecraft again.

I was looking at the store It prompts me to buy the game again however I haven't deleted the game yet.

Well I was investigating more and you can use this method to get the game to appear, which I found published in one of the Microsoft forums by Dante Martino independent consultant, follow the steps he suggests:

Search for the game in the Microsoft Store search engine and see if it lets you download it (without purchasing it again).

If it hasn't worked, make these adjustments:

1. Sign out of your account in the Microsoft Store

2. Close the Store

3. Restart the Windows 10 user session

4. Sign in to the Microsoft Store again (make sure it's the same account where you redeemed and installed Minecraft Windows 10).

5. Check if you can download the game

Do you also have problems in Windows Update?

Are the updates in Windows Update correct?

If the problem persists in the Store, follow these steps:

1. If you have an antivirus other than Windows Defender installed, disable it or uninstall it (better).

2. Type CMD in the search bar

3. In the results, click on the right on Run as administrator

4. In the administrator console, type the following commands and press Enter after each one:

SC config licensemanager start= auto

SC config wuauserv start= auto

SC config bits start= auto

SC config cryptsvc start= auto

SC config trustedinstaller start= auto

5. Close the administrator console

6. Press the Windows+R keys

7. In the Open box type wsreset and press Enter. Wait for the Store to close automatically.

8. RESTART your computer and when you return, try again in the Store to see if you can now download the game.
