Xbox reddem code on aoter xbox usage but with same account

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I understand that you redeemed a digital game on your Microsoft account and you would like to know if you can play the same title using a different Xbox.

You only need to redeem the code once and you can play with the game on another Xbox as long as you'll login your Microsoft account. The license to play the game is now bound on your Microsoft account.

If you login to your Microsoft account, you should be able to see that you already own the license to play the game: https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders

I had the same problem but when I checked my account the card was reddemed

But, could you please provide more details:

1. What is the code for?
2. Where did you get it?

Most codes are region restricted - in other words, they can only be used in certain areas, like the U.S.



If you are being asked for an American address, then this is probably the case.

also does your account country match the codes country?

like you are trying to reddem a canadian code on an american account

region locked codes wont work accross regions and result in invalid codes

What I think happend was the code I reedem wasn't region locked so because my phone location was set to ja it automatically reddemed in (JMD) Currency so I think what the agent did was refunded that then reddemed it back but this time my account was set to (US)

Am no expert so am guessing here.
