    Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 Italia Not connecting


    Hello! I had this wheel for about 5-6 years, and in the last 3 year it started being 'faulty'.

    Whenever i connect it to my PC, it says "Unknown USB Device". I Also heard that this wheel relies on Windows's built in drivers.

    So is the Wheel unusable (e-waste) now? What should i do?

    Also, it sometimes work. 2yr ago it didn't work, then it worked for about a year. Now it doesn't work again. Is this normal?

    Hello pacekmen, sorry to hear you're having trouble with your wheel.

    First, please make sure that your PC and drivers are fully updated. If there are any pending updates then run them and restart the PC.

    Please also be sure to try other USB ports just in case it's a failure with the PC hardware.

    However, as you did mention that the wheel is about 5-6 years old it is also possible that it's just no longer functioning properly. What I would like to recommend here would be to try contacting the manufacturer's support team to see if they have any suggestions for you though. https://support.thrustmaster.com.
