redemption of vbucks gift cards

Hello.

sorry for the long post.....

today I have tried to redeem 3 x 1000 vbucks gift cards. I used fortnite.com/vbuckscard and got the 25 digit redemption code, then when prompted, used my microsoft account to redeem. There is only 1 xbox username linked to the email address (i think anyway).

no vbucks have showed up on this xbox account. I had spoken to epic games support who said to contact microsoft to confirm where the secondary code was redeemed, then they could trace the £££. Microsoft support was useless, (20 min on hold before explaining the situation and then another 30min on hold before they hung up on me).

Can anyone suggest anything to try to trace the vbucks?? i have emails saying the vbucks have been redeemed but obviously not to the account they should have gone to!

• If you don't mind, could you check if the redemption of your 3 V-Bucks secondary codes is visible on your account's Order History? Considering you received confirmation emails for these orders it's likely that's the case, but it would be best to be sure.

You can find your Order History at: https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders

If you can see the V-Bucks on your Order History, it means the redemption of your codes was successful.

• To clarify, are you launching Fortnite on an Xbox Console? If so, could you make sure the Gamertag and Gamerpic on the profile you are using are the same as the ones you see in the top-right corner when you go to [ https://account.microsoft.com/profile/ ] and click on "Xbox Profile"?

Everything I can find says you cannot gift VBucks the best thing to do is give them a gift card so they can buy their own Vbucks.

Did you buy a Microsoft gift card or actual Vbuck gift card?

if you purchased a vbuck gift card you need to go to this link https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/vbuckscard you need to login to HER account because it supplies
a code for ONLY a specific account that here vbuck gift card was redeemed on. Please log in to HER account and redeem the code. then you have the option to select which platform. select Xbox and you will be given another code specifically for the Xbox to redeem
on her account.
