    New X Box X won't startup!


    Just bought a brand new X Box Series X disc edition.

    Upon switching it on it gets stuck on the black screen with the white X Box logo.

    After loading for a few minutes it shows error code 0x8027025a.

    I got in touch with a chat agent who walked me through reseting the X Box back to defaults.

    It loads 100% but afterwards gives the same error code. Once I gave this feedback back to the agent they just left my chat and I can't connect to another agent.

    I've also tried restarting the X Box and cutting the power after a shut down for 30 seconds with no success.

    x box has given me terrible support! Im hoping the community can help

    do you have a service request number? I recommend returning the system to the store and exchanging it for another one

    Unfortunately the backwards compatibility program is over so if it hasn't already been made backwards compatible then it won't be.

    X Box One startup

    When the XBOX ONE goes to the green loading screen this NORMALLY means there was a power outage or what not.

    What I can suggest to you is unplug the XBOX ONE for a few seconds, plug it back in it will load the green loading screen again, but hopefully complete the loading afterwards. If not you may have a faulty system.

    First, welcome to the Xbox community. I'm sorry you're having this problem.

    Please try to carry out the solutions below.

    Solution 1:


    Step 1. Press and hold the Xbox button on the console for at least 10 seconds to open the Power center.

    Step 2. Then unplug the power supply from your console and wait for 3 minutes.

    Step 3. Plug the power supply back into the Xbox console.

    Step 4. Press the Xbox button on the console to turn it on again.

    Solution 2:

    1. Turn off Xbox One.

    2. Unplug power.

    3. Plug the power back to Xbox One 30 seconds later.

    4. Press and hold Bind and Eject at the same time (don't release).

    5. Press and release the Power button, and then you will hear the startup chime.

    6. When you hear the second startup chime, you can release the bind and eject buttons.

    7. Select Reset this Xbox on the screen.

    8. Select Keep games and apps.
