Using the same XBOX Game Pass subscription on two PCs

Hi,

I am having trouble signing in the same XBox Game Pass account on two distinct devices. I have a PC and a recently purchased ROG Ally which came with 3 months of Ultimate Game Pass. I already had a Game Pass -not ultimate- on my PC. I don’t know if it is appropriate to ask but can I actually use the same subscription on both of the devices at the same time? I will not use the two accounts simultaneously, only one or the other at a given time.

I am not sure but on Ally, the application asked me if I would like to make it the account I will use for offline things I think, informed me that I could only change it thrice in 365 days. I accepted but now, I doubt that I can sign in using the PC subscription. One last thing to ask, will I need a ultimate subscription once the ultimate trial ends, should I keep on ultimate to play on both of the devices, if I can do so now?

I have about 6 PCs and I am using the same game pass on all the PCs and also on iPad and iPhone. Of course, I can only play one PC at a time. I cannot have two games running on two different computers at the same time.

All Game Pass (basic and ultimate or any other plan) works on multiple PCs.

Well no generally you would just use the 3 months to upgrade your pc gamepass for the extra credit

Hello, if you have an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, then you only need one subscription for your two children to play together online.

That's because Xbox Game Pass Ultimate includes all the benefits of Xbox Game Pass Core, including access to online multiplayer games.

If you have an Xbox Game Pass Core subscription, then you will need a subscription for each child. This is because Xbox Game Pass Core does not include access to online multiplayer games.

If you have an Xbox Game Pass for PC subscription, then you don't need a subscription for your two kids to play together online. This is because online multiplayer games on PC are free.

If you bought the Game Pass Ultimate, you don't need to purchase a subscription for Game Pass PC, It's included.

If you just have a Game Pass Console subscription, you should upgrade to Ultimate is the cheaper option to play on console and PC (you'll have xbox live for free) or buy an additional subscription for Game Pass PC.

Just be careful, the game catalogues are not totally the same between PC and Console.

You can use Game Pass on two devices; there's no need to purchase a second Game Pass. The only thing to keep in mind is that you can't play the same title simultaneously on both devices.
