CoD World at War digital version says it was last played in disk, but i don't own a disk...

I'm sorry you and your friend are experiencing issues playing COD: Cold War.

• In addition to removing and adding your profile, could you try power cycling your console and network hardware? Like this:

- Press and hold your console's power button until it shuts down.
- Unplug the console's power cord for 5 minutes. If you have the original Xbox One, you'll have to unplug the power supply unit from both the console and the outlet.
- Turn your modem/router off and unplug them for 5 minutes.
- Plug everything back together and check if the issues persist.

• If that doesn't work, I'd appreciate your answering the following questions:

- To clarify, is this game being game shared with you?

- Besides COD: Cold War, are you experiencing similar issues with any of your other digital games?

- Could you go to Settings > General > Network settings, and let me know what you see under "Current Network Status"?

- Have you already checked for both console and game updates?

* You can check for console updates at Settings > System > Updates.
* You can check for game updates by going to My games and apps > Manage > Updates.

Do you on the disk or digital version

If disk version or game share it won't work as it's account speccific and you need to own the base game digitally

Ok when you say you own thr game do you mean you bought the disk or thr digital copy?

If disk then no as you don't own the digital game and no you do need the disk to verify ownership

As with every other digital only console you nerd digital ownership

Have not bought anything but Mass effect and Arkham city were a good price. Probably just buy the disk versions of the games though as I prefer disks over digital downloads. Don't get me wrong digital versions are just as good as disk versions but my preference
is game disks, something tangible to keep.
