Upon attempting to log in to Minecraft, I found that my account appears to be compromised. However, I am unable to recover it. Upon attempting to log in, I am given two options:

1. "Forgot Password," which does not work. When I type the email associated with the account, I am told that the account cannot be found or does not exist.

2. "Send code to yc*****@firstmailler.net," which is not an email account I am familiar with.

After reviewing the Microsoft website and support resources, I could not find any information that seems to help with this situation.

The first idea to find your email is to directly log into your account with your phone number.

You can find your username using this recovery tool: [https://account.live.com/username/recover] by inputting related data.

If this does not work, you can try to look for email receipts on alternative accounts or find accounts you made be logged into on different services.

Once you have found the new address, you can recover the account using the Account Recovery Form: https://account.live.com/acsr]

Make sure to complete it in an area you would usually access your account from. It is important to be consistent with this form, you can complete the form twice a day everyday until your regain access to your account. Repeating this will increase your odds of recovery.

Raised a ticket with Forza Support, who closed it and told me to raise a ticket with Microsoft Support
Raised a ticket with Microsoft Support, who told me to raise a ticket with Forza Support.
I've opened another ticket with Forza Support, have just copied in the email from Microsoft Support.

Thank you for confirming my findings. I was in communication with Xbox Live support via IM. They confirmed it's a problem with the DLC file and they opened a support ticket number. So Microsoft should be on the case at least.

I've seen posts on the account suspension forum where the Policy Enforcement Team says that once there is an unauthorized access ticket open for investigation, the PET
does work with Support on that ticket but does not communicate about it on the forums at all. The implication is that your only communication path is to keep calling Support to get updates on your ticket. (I don't know if you can email Support
about existing tickets.)

Also, make sure that the Live ID email is working for the account you are posting with. The PET repeatedly has to tell people that they've been email-replying to some posts rather than putting them in the public forum, but a lot of people seem to have
incorrect addresses or other email problems.
