The Minecraft launcher startup-delay is unacceptable

Make sure you are already signed in to the Microsoft Store, the Xbox app and the Xbox Console Companion app with the same account you are trying to use in the launcher.

Press Control-Shift-Escape to call up Task Manager.

See if you can see “Minecraft Launcher” running in Processes tab.

If so, right click Launcher process and choose “End Task”

Also make sure that antivirus software isn’t getting in the way of startup.

Firstly, sorry for my delayed reply, been trying to find some leads on whether or not this is caused by the Permission issue you mentioned, or a game issue and I haven't gotten any certain clarity as of yet. Could you show what happens when you try to download via the Minecraft Launcher what happens? Or if you can't download the Minecraft Launcher, can you show, in the Microsoft Store what it says when you try?

Please try to download other apps or games from the Microsoft Store to test whether the problem only occurs when downloading Minecraft Launcher. If the problem only occurs when downloading Minecraft Launcher, try downloading the Xbox App and then downloading Minecraft Launcher through the Xbox App. Please change the save path when downloading.

If you encounter problems downloading all games, press the Windows key and search for Services. In Services, confirm whether the following services are enabled and set to Automatic. If not, enable these services and set the startup type to Automatic.

Hello! I appreciate you trying the steps. You can also try to repair the launcher. Kindly go to the Start Menu.

Right click on the Minecraft Launcher.

Select 'More'

Open 'App Settings'

Within these settings, click on 'Repair' and 'Reset'

After that, press Windows key + R to launch the Run box.

Type in services.msc and click OK. When Services open scroll down to Microsoft Account Sign-in Assistant.

Double-click on it to open Properties.

Note: The startup type should be set to Manual.

If you see Startup status on Stopped in the lower left portion, click/tap on Start, then Apply, and OK. Please verify if the issue still persists.

why use the launcher, i use minecraft direct without the launcher, you have the option to install minecraft with or without launcher in the xbox app.
